These terms cover the yourdivorceally.com website, the free check, the Two Threads programme sold here, and the one-to-one calls and planning sessions we offer. By using the site or buying from us, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Your Divorce Ally and Two Threads are trading names of Alissa Lang Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Contact details are at the end of this page. The Two Threads Method has its own terms at thetwothreadsmethod.com/terms; they apply to every programme built on the method, including this one, and these terms add what is specific to this site.
Your Divorce Ally offers educational, self-guided written material and coaching-style support for women going through divorce. It is not therapy, counselling, medical care, legal advice, financial advice, mediation, or specialist domestic abuse support. We do not diagnose or treat any condition, we do not advise on your legal or financial position, and we do not act on your behalf with your ex-partner, solicitors or any court. If you are struggling, please speak to your GP or a qualified professional; if you are at risk from someone, the National Domestic Abuse Helpline (0808 2000 247) or 999 are the right first calls. You remain responsible for your own health, safety, decisions and actions.
The site and programme are for people aged 18 and over.
The Two Threads check is free, needs no account, and is provided as it is. The result is a reflection prompt about your own nervous system, not an assessment of you and never a judgement of anyone else.
The Two Threads programme (£47 founding, £67 list): the divorce application of the Two Threads Method, an orientation, six stages and a closing with their worksheets, at yourdivorceally.com, for as long as the programme is published, at your own pace. Prices are in GBP and include any applicable taxes. Payment is taken at the time of purchase through our payment provider, Stripe, under the name Two Threads. We may change prices at any time; the price you paid is the price you paid. Founding buyers keep their access when the price rises.
After purchase you receive an access code by email from [email protected]. It is for you alone. Please do not share it, post it, or use it to give others access to the programme. If a code is shared, we may withdraw it and issue you a new one, or in serious cases end your access without refund.
One-to-one calls and planning sessions are booked through our booking page and paid for as shown there, or agreed by email. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to move or cancel a paid session, using the link in your booking confirmation; a session missed without notice may be charged. If we have to cancel, we will offer another time or a full refund. Sessions are confidential, with one limit: if we believe a child or an adult is at serious risk of harm, we may need to share what is necessary with the right service, and we will tell you if we can.
The programme is digital content. Under UK consumer law you have 14 days from purchase to cancel for a full refund, unless you have started accessing the programme, at which point that right ends. You will be asked to agree to this at checkout. If something is wrong with the programme, tell us and we will put it right or refund you. Refunds go back to the card you paid with and your access code stops working when a refund is made.
The programme, the check, the exercises, the worksheets, the site copy and the Two Threads Method are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Those rights are held by, or licensed to, Alissa Lang or an entity of her choosing, and may be transferred between them at any time without notice to you. Nothing here gives anyone other than Alissa Lang, or an entity she designates, any right to use, license, sell, teach from or build on them. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own development. You may not copy, share, resell, teach from, or redistribute programme materials without our written permission. What you write during the programme is yours.
The programme works when you do the exercises, and outcomes depend on you and your circumstances. We do not promise any particular result, in your divorce or anywhere else.
We aim to keep the site and the programme available, but we may take them down for maintenance or withdraw them. If we withdraw the programme permanently within a year of your purchase, we will refund you a fair share of the price.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you bought, or for any loss that arises from a decision you made about your relationship, your children, your money or your legal position.
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. The terms in force when you bought apply to that purchase.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts there have jurisdiction. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
